Earlier this week, R&B/Pop music duo Tuché revealed their new EP, What I Want – which is set to be released on April 20th.
Alongside the EP announcement, they revealed the cover art and complete tracklist, featuring production from UGYN, Brizy Beats, and Atlanta-based multi-platinum producer TAYO. The cover art showcases the duo dressed in elegant black and brown gowns against a Tuscan backdrop.
Blending Afro-influenced rhythms with R&B, Pop, and Soul, this 4-track project is executive produced by collaborator– Canadian producer 180dazz and will represent a new chapter in Tuché’s journey, delving into themes of love, desire, vulnerability, and self-discovery.

“What I Want is more than just a title, it’s a reclamation. We started this journey in 2018 in Windsor, Ontario as 4twnty– two girls born on the same day, creating music for fun and sharing it with people around us. What began as something light quickly turned into purpose after stepping on stages in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Toronto, where we discovered a real love for performing and storytelling,” shared Tuché in a statement. “As second generation immigrant women with roots in Sudan and Nigeria, we carried both the discipline of our upbringing and the desire to carve out something of our own.”
“You’ll hear the past and the present co-exist in a way that feels honest to our journey.“
Traveling between Canada and Atlanta over the past year, they have developed their renewed identity, sound, and creative vision. “This project exists as a time capsule, bridging who we were with who we’ve become,” they add. “Some of these songs were written years ago and refined with the voices, emotions and experiences we carry today. You’ll hear the past and the present co-exist in a way that feels honest to our journey. What I Want represents the freedom to finally move with intention… to create, express and exist exactly as we are, without compromise.”

With “What I Want,” Tuché announces more than just a comeback as they’ve embarked on a bold new chapter, exploring a fresh sound and creative direction. This EP marks their reintroduction, inviting listeners to experience their raw, thoughtfully crafted music.
What I Want will be available on all streaming platforms on April 20th, 2026. Pre-save here.
