9x JUNO Award winners Arkells have unveiled their latest single titled Money, featuring Portugal. The Man. This upbeat, synth-driven track delves into the complex and often challenging relationship everyone shares with money. The music video for “Money” was released simultaneously with the single.

“There are so many invisible forces that guide us, and we’re trying to keep money from sitting too high on the list.”
“The pull of money is hard to escape. It’s tangled up in vanity, competition, ego, and dreams of the future — but it’s a godless place to live.” shares lead singer Max Kerman. “There are so many invisible forces that guide us, and we’re trying to keep money from sitting too high on the list. We felt like the song was almost there, when we realized John from Portugal. The Man––our favourite American with a streak rebellion––was exactly the voice to bring it home.”
Money is the follow-up to the group’s latest single, “What Good?” which was released in October. This track serves as the first glimpse of their upcoming album, slated for release in 2026.
